Just finished watching a screening of IVORY, a feature film produced by Charles Carre ’98, Laurence Gingold ’98 and Oscar-winning producer Gray Frederickson (The Godfather Parts I, II & III, Apocalypse Now). IVORY was inspired by Laurence’s experience as a student at Oberlin, and was filmed partly in Oberlin. The story details the lives of a group of young pianists as they confront personal and professional rivalry during the rigors of training for an international piano competition. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s not too late. Check it out tonight at 11pm in the Science Center, West Lecture Hall.
And check back here for an interview with Carre, to come!
